This is where we share our ongoing, voluntary and self-motivated pursuit of boxing, training and coaching knowledge.
Not all of life’s lessons can be learned in the ring – some are learned from books, from experiences with other people outside of the gym, from other unrelated studies, etc. So while not every post here will be directly about boxing, training or coaching – it may add to your understanding. And so we will share it.
Of course, you may also find here – our announcements, press-releases and articles written by guest bloggers. Should you have an idea for a topic or something of yours that you would like us to share, just let us know.
“To me, photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event.”
– Henri Cartier-Bresson
Boxing is a sport of self-control. You must understand fear so you can manipulate it. Fear is like fire. You can make it work for you: it can warm you in the winter, cook your food when you’re hungry, give you light when you are in the dark, and produce energy. Let it go out of control and it can hurt you, even kill you… Fear is a friend of exceptional people.Details
