This is where we share our ongoing, voluntary and self-motivated pursuit of boxing, training and coaching knowledge.
Not all of life’s lessons can be learned in the ring – some are learned from books, from experiences with other people outside of the gym, from other unrelated studies, etc. So while not every post here will be directly about boxing, training or coaching – it may add to your understanding. And so we will share it.
Of course, you may also find here – our announcements, press-releases and articles written by guest bloggers. Should you have an idea for a topic or something of yours that you would like us to share, just let us know.
Jack Broughton, “The Father of Boxing”, made the Broughton Rules in 1743 after he accidentally killed a man in the ring. 1) A round ends when a man goes down and 2) 30 seconds rest between rounds. #boxing #TBT #boxinghistory #manlymen

The right question will stop you in your tracks. Pay attention to your intuition. Step back and take another look. The key to finding a new perspective or a simple solution to an old problem is questioning yourself – without judgment, staying curious, and accepting the truth. #Boxing #success #personalgrowthanddevelopment
Pros vs. amateurs, USA Boxing politics, AIBA politics, IOC politics, PEDs, Zika outbreak, severe water pollution, behind-schedule venues, delayed metro lines, sluggish ticket sales, cuts in service – not to mention Brazil’s deep financial crisis and impeachment proceedings against its president! I’m psyched, but apprehensive, for Olympic Boxing. #HighHopes #LowExpectations #Boxing #rio2016
